Always & Forever: Elijah Wood

Wooden Wisdom traveled to the Last Frontier of Alaska for the first time to deejay for an enthusiastic crowd in Anchorage.

Just before their two sold-out shows, they visited the Anchorage Wolverines’ hockey game for the ceremonial puck drop and some photo ops. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] Ever consoling, Elijah saw that a cameraman on ice skates was okay.

Then it was on to some outdoor wintry fun at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. [1] [2] [3]

The next-to-last scheduled fan convention of the year came to Vienna Comic Con, which was another first-time trip for Elijah. Click here to view photos from the convention.

The con streamed his Q&A live, which can be watched here. Among some standard questions, Elijah gave his account of the wedding he accidentally stumbled upon while in New Zealand.

The episode “Upstairses,” in which Elijah appeared on the HBO comedy series I Love LA, aired last week. Here are some screencaps and a few promo shots. The series as a whole is receiving good reviews, and lauds Elijah’s exaggerated, outlandish variant of himself (I mean, he’s wearing a gold chain) as a highlight of the show. Actress True Whitaker talks about what it was like shooting their scenes.

It took a bit of time, but screencaps and more for The Toxic Avenger are now available here

Elijah moderated a Q&A in Los Angeles for the documentary, Zodiac Killer Project, with the film’s director, Charlie Shackleton. You can view some photos from the event here.

While in Alaska for their deejay gig, Elijah and Zach gave a very unique interview in November’s Video of the Month.

That’s all… for now.
