Fantastic Fest started yesterday with Elijah and Ant Timpson in tow to present Bookworm for its US premiere. SpectreVision will also premiere its latest production, Ebony and Ivory. Not only that, Elijah and Daniel will record a live session of Visitations on September 22nd. To get you in the mood until it airs, listen to their newest episodes over at SpectreVision Radio.
There are a few more behind-the-scenes images added to the Bookworm section. See if you can spot them. And it looks like the digital release of Bookworm has been upgraded. It’s been officially announced that it will be on VOD in New Zealand on October 2nd. It will be available on streaming platforms (Prime Video, Apple TV, and more) in the US beginning October 18th, where it will also be shown in select theaters. I hope mine is one of them. There’s nothing like seeing New Zealand (and Elijah) on the big screen!
Elijah, Billy, and Dom took to Dragon Con in Atlanta late in August, where it looked like all had a great time. Dom treated us to a short video of their jumbled stage announcements. Billy was confused and Elijah even took a tumble, though we can’t see it. But we know Elijah. He’s like a cat.

Then all four guys were off to Ottawa Comic Con a week later. Regrettably, there hasn’t been an upload of the panel discussions from either event, but there is a quick backstage interview from Ottawa.
About ten years ago, Elijah met the Italian voice actor who has dubbed his films for over 20 years, and a video of that encounter was recently uploaded to YouTube.
As stated in the intro, this September recap is a little early since I’ll be celebrating one of those “zero” birthdays and whisking away on a much-needed vacation for a week (sadly, not at Fantastic Fest), and my usual routine will be out of sync for a good spell afterward. Thank goodness because there are more upcoming events to stay on top of.
Since it’s Fantastic Fest season, I’ve chosen for the next Video of the Month, one of the crowd favorites, the Fantastic Debates where Elijah and pal Dominic Monaghan go head to head before throwing some punches. Good, clean, fun!
