Elijah had to cancel his appearances in Dallas this month and the upcoming Australian conventions in November. It’s disappointing, especially for fans who were planning to see him, but it was announced that he had to start filming in Europe and couldn’t be in multiple places at once. But work is work, so what is he working on?

It’s hard to say, though reports suggest he and Orlando are possibly being wooed to appear in the next season of the Netflix series The Gentlemen. It was quite a coincidence that he canceled the con and DJ gig in Dallas just as filming began on the series. Not to mention some fans running into him in Italy. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] We’ll just have to wait and see what he’s working on.

Press photos have been released from two productions Elijah is connected with. First, images from The Hunt for Gollum were released, and so far, the only image of Elijah as Frodo is the one above, along with these. [1] [2] [3]

Second, many new faces and stills from the final season of Yellowjackets have been published, but Walter is absent. However, this image of Christina Ricci (Misty) and June Squibb poses an entertaining thought. What if June is playing Walter’s murderous but thoughtful grandmother? That’s one to ponder while we wait for more buzz to come, since the series’ end begins on November 20th.

Obviously, there are no images from said cons, but there are some of Wooden Wisdom in Toronto, and just Wooden, as Elijah went solo at an exhibit opening at the Aurty Museum. Click away to view both sets of photos.
